Exhibitions Without Walls for Photographers and Digital Artists (EWW)

is a juried online competition that features winning works from photographers and digital artists, which include graphic designers and illustrators.  Works that are appropriate for these juried online competitions include any art style where some type of photographic and/or digital process has been applied in creating the work. We have selected jurors that not only have an artistic background but also are involved with the business of art.

 Why another online juried competition?

There are several sites that have artists submit works and award the winners with an online exhibition. We believe that aside from the online gallery recognition, it ends there for the artist.  However, we have taken this model a step further.

For the top three competition winners we provide a cash prize. In addition, Best In Competition receives a promotional package that includes a media kit, general press release kit and a press release by EWW promoting the Top Finalists and their win to contacts that include major media, trade journals, art organizations and councils, gallery owners/directors, interior designers and corporate buyers of photography and digital art.  Additional prizes are awarded by our prize sponsors.  What artist doesn’t want the exposure that may lead to the selling of their works? Many artists see themselves as artists first and their art as a business second. After talking to many photographers and digital artists, we discovered that their primary activities in marketing and promotion are limited to setting up a website (sometimes with an online store); exhibiting in galleries and art fairs; joining online galleries and joining artist organizations for networking.

Not the traditional online gallery

EWW is not a site where an artist can set up a personal website with a profile and upload images of their work. It is an online juried competition held six times a year to promote the photography and digital art and enhance its validity as fine art; and to recognize and promote photographers and digital artists globally.  This proactive approach takes the artist’s work to a new level of exposure.
